SOFTBALL: Bulldogs win slugfest at North Harrison on Monday 16-10

RAMSEY – New Albany rallied from a 9-4 deficit after two innings to prevail at North Harrison on Monday in five innings 16-10.
The Bulldogs (2-2) scored four runs in the top of the third to pull within one run at 9-8. In the fourth, New Albany put seven runs on the scoreboard to go up 15-8.
The Bulldogs collected 19 hits. New Albany’s Karlee Atkins went 3-for-3 with a double, a home run, three runs scored and two RBIs. Teammate Mariah Grant was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, three runs scored and three RBIs.
Collecting two hits for the Bulldogs were Madison Lawson, Erikah Crosier, Terah Crosier, Riley Case, Bri Schoenfeld and Alyssa Kraemer. Lawson and Schoenfeld each had three RBIs, while Terah Crosier scored three runs.
New Albany’s Morgan Jenks was the winning pitcher. In three innings of work, Jenks allowed one run (earned) on three hits. She struck out three and walked two.
