SOFTBALL: Highlanders roll past Jennings County in HHC tourney final 22-1

FLOYDS KNOBS - Floyd Central captured the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament title Friday by thumping visiting Jennings County in five innings 22-1.
Highlander sophomore Dallas Henderson smacked two home runs and collected six RBIs. She had a two-run shot in a 14-run first inning. Henderson's second dinger came in a four-run second.
Floyd Central senior Jensen Striegel went 4-for-4 with a double, four runs scored and two RBIs.
Teammates Cassie Thomerson and Taryn Weddle each smacked a homer. Weddle ended up driving in five runs, while Thomerson had four RBIs.
