GIRLS' TENNIS: Bulldogs fall to Olympians in HHC final 5-0

COLUMBUS - New Albany got swept in the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament championship match Friday by host Columbus East 5-0.
The Bulldogs' No. 1 doubles team of Megha Dhanapal and Emily Yellina and their No. 2 doubles tandem of Noor Quershi and Londyn Tyler each lost their matches in a super tiebreaker.
It was East's first HHC title since 1982.

COLUMBUS EAST 5, NEW ALBANY 0
Singles: Megan Chari d. Ashley Fulmer 6-1, 6-1; Adycin Rager d. Daisy Dukes 6-1, 6-4; Alaysha Pollert d. Sarah Vanlsenberg 6-1, 6-1.
Doubles: Carolyn Travis-Maddy Rhodes d. Megha Dhanapal-Emily Yellina 1-6, 6-2, 10-3; Kendall Gerken-Kathryn Hodzen d. Noor Quershi-Londyn Tyler 6-4, 5-7, 10-4.
