NEW ALBANY – Senior center Chyna Anthony scored a
career-high 32 points Tuesday night at The Doghouse to lead New Albany past
Charlestown 69-52.
Anthony completed a double-double with 11 rebounds along
with four blocked shots. Teammate Savanna Pinkston recorded her own
double-double with 13 points and 10 boards. Also for New Albany (13-5), guard
Earlean Davis had 10 points, fellow senior Marissa Jones distributed 17 assists
and junior Kelsy Taylor grabbed seven boards.
Sophomore Samantha Matthews paced Charlestown with 17 points,
while freshman teammate Jackie Biscardi had 15.
Charlestown will host Salem on Thursday.
