NEW ALBANY – The Courier-Journal in Louisville reported in
an article on its website Friday morning that New Albany junior swingman Romeo
Langford is probable to play in Friday night’s home game with Class 2A No. 1
and archrival Providence. Langford was cleared to return to practice Thursday
after he dislocated a pinky finger during practice last week.
Langford missed the Class 4A No. 4 Bulldogs’ two games last
week with Jennings County and Columbus East. When Langford suffered the injury,
he was expected to miss at least two weeks.
Langford is New Albany’s leading scorer this season,
averaging 28.9 points per game.
