BOYS’ HOOPS: Red Devils win second in a row, beat Harrison 81-64

JEFFERSONVILLE – Jeffersonville bolted out of the gates quickly and won its second straight game Thursday night at Johnson Arena, defeating Evansville Harrison 81-64.
The Red Devils (10-8) took a 22-9 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors (11-6) won the second 13-9 to pull within nine points at halftime. But Jeff came out strong in the third as it outscored Harrison 28-15 to extend its advantage to 59-37.
Five Red Devils scored at least nine points. Junior forward Bailey Falkenstein was Jeff’s leading scorer with 22 points. Fellow junior Gerrin Moore added 17 and Red Devil freshman forward Tre Coleman poured in 16. Jeff sophomore guard Joe LaGrange tallied 10 points and freshman guard Jacob Jones chipped in nine.
Riley Epley was the Warriors’ top scorer with 17 points, followed by teammate De’ante Booker with 15.
The Red Devils will host Evansville Reitz (9-8) a week from Friday.
